Fish School Quilt

24 bright fish will cheer up any room! Everything is appliqued and sewn onto each rectangle. ( Even the bubbles are sewn on so they won't pop or float away!) 45" x 54"

The pink, yellow and blue fabrics chosen for the rectangles have some little yellow or orange and metallic graphics floating through and have a paint stroke feeling to them. One looks like multicolored confetti. And one looks like you're underwater in a swimming pool on a sunny day.

The fish are bright pink, bright blue, green, confetti blue and bright orange. If the fish has a bubble(s) it will match the fish!

The border is a rich dark blue with lighter blue polka dots and a few metallic gold dots. The background is a soft denim blue with white bubbles all over it, and a hot pink stripe down the center with dots (some metallic) all over it. The batting in the middle is a bamboo/cotton blend.

You can build activities around the fish if you're homeschooling. Examples would be math (how many fish are blue? how many fish have bubbles? what's 4 x 6?), color identification, writing stories, naming each fish, etc. All of the fish are different and yet they're all in school together swimming along.

This can be used as a wall hanging or a quilt. Let me know if you'd like a cloth tube on the back for hanging purposes. Write for more pics or with any questions.

(As always, wash in cold on gentle. I usually add a Dye Catcher for any multi colored pieces.)
